OWN A PONY DAYS

Children come to us every school holiday for our ‘own a pony days’ and ‘under 8’s’ courses. The pony days run from 10-4 and are filled with fun and games, stable management and 1 hour riding, for £34. The under 8’s is for 2 hours and includes a basic 1 hour stable management for the younger children, and 1 hours riding,for £25. An ideal way to keep your child occupied during the holidays! We also hold a pony club camp for a full week in August. We hold regular competitions during the year, mainly for our own clients, but some are open to outsiders. These include dressage, show jumping and cross country.

PONY CLUB

We have been a Pony Club Centre for several years. This is where riding school children can do the same training and tests as normal pony club children who have their own ponies, but they do it here on riding school ponies. They are trained in all aspects of pony care and management, and take achievement badges such as grooming, mucking out, first aid etc. They also do pony club D test and C test etc. These are all national tests and are recognised anywhere in this country. We presently have pony club training on Wednesday evenings, but children aged 10 or over can come and join our weekend ‘Muckers Club’ where they can come all day and increase their experience and skills in pony care

We hold regular competitions during the year for dressage, show jumping and cross-country. These are  mainly for our own clients, but some are open to people who own their own horses.
