TRAINING

We offer training from British Horse Society Stage 1 – 3, and the Preliminary Teaching Test, either individually or in groups, and run regular BHS stage 1 evening courses during the year.

We are a ‘centre of excellence’ linked to Myerscough College and offer the new ‘DEQ’ apprentice training in conjunction  with ‘Mike Kidd Horsepower’. This involves a 12 month apprenticeship with l day a week training at our centre resulting in a qualification of BHS Stage 2 care and NVQ Level 2.

We are flexible and will try to  put together any sort of training package that you require. 

LINKS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS

We have close links with many local schools and accept groups during the day for riding lessons or stable management courses.

We regularly take pupils on annual work experience for 1 or 2 weeks.

We also have year 10 and 11 pupils who come to us  all year round on extended work experience for 1-3 days a week.

10am  -  3pm.  Includes 3/4 hour flatwork riding assessment
